Work With Us!

As the first licensed cannabis labour company in Canada, it is our hope to influence the industry in a positive way by paying cannabis workers competitive wages, offering benefits, learning opportunities, and room for growth. Cannabis workers are the backbone of the industry. We value the knowledge and expertise that our team members carry and know that it is their experience and passion, in collaboration with growers, that ensures the best quality product.

Green Team is committed to the following:

  • Excellent employment standards

Happy workers means happy plants. There are legal standards to ensure that employees are treated fairly. We are not only committed to meeting these standards, but want to go above and beyond. We want our team members to feel they are part of a team where they are valued for who they are and what they bring.

  • Competitive wages

Being a team of experienced workers we know that many who have been working in this industry for decades are potentially looking at pay cuts if they want to transition into the legal market. Many cannabis workers are women, many are single mothers. The industry is capable of supporting living wages for its workers, and we believe that all the knowledge and expertise that cannabis workers have been obtaining throughout their careers is worth a living wage.

  • Benefits

In an unregulated market cannabis workers have not had access to resources such as benefits. Cannabis work is laborious and repetitive and can be hard on the body. Having access to benefits will ensure our workers are able to stay healthy and be more productive.

  • Learning opportunities

This industry is constantly growing and evolving, much like the plants themselves, and we are committed to doing the same. There are ample opportunities to attend workshops, lecture series, conferences, etc. that will help us maintain a strong, innovative, and knowledgeable team.

  • Room for growth

Our team members are always looking for places to grow and improve, and knowing you are valued and able to grow within a team is a wonderful incentive to produce the best quality products. As our company grows we are excited to offer plenty of room to grow and expand with it.

  • Safe work space

As employers we feel it is our responsibility to ensure a safe workplace for our team members. This means having sound and effective models of conflict resolution in place, training pertaining to violence in the workplace, gender equity, anti-racist training, and diversity & inclusion to ensure that our team is capable of creating a safe environment for people of all genders, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, culture, religion, and abilities.

Excellent Company, Awesome Team
Green Team is by far the most enjoyable job I had. It is run by awesome owners that are ready to listen to you and brainstorm ideas to make it work. They treat their staff respectfully, amicably and professionally.

I started as a harvester 3 years ago, then Team Lead and now Regional manager.
I have work with incredible people with this company. I recommend it.
— Regional Manager in Kootenay, BC
By far the best company I have ever worked for. Since I started my ideas have been heard and I have been supported and encouraged to help not only the company but also myself succeed. The management are extremely patient and work to understand the root of all problems and don’t place blame or take sides until they fully understand the issue. They are flexible with how you take your breaks, giving you an hours worth throughout an 8 hour work day. As long as you understand that this is a contract company, meaning work can vary, you won’t have a problem. That being said I have worked with them for almost a year and have only been without work for maybe a total of 2 weeks throughout that time. I am proud to work for a company that offers as much recognition and progression as they do.
— Team Lead in Edmonton, AB
Things I learned with Green Team continue to help me. Also, the compassion and understanding they gave me are still shining. I love them. The only employer who didn’t hurt me.
